Service
Blackstone's core goal is to reduce the workload placed on our operations geologist.
We strive to be the crew you look forward to calling each morning. We will greet you with our current correlation and if you'd like to compare notes, we speak your language.
We plan ahead. If we expect to encounter drilling hazards or significant formation changes, we discuss them with the rig crew and management so that everyone is on board.
Your target changes are delivered in person to the Directional team and Operations Consultant, keeping everyone in the loop.
Ultimately, we want you to be confident that we are on point serving as your rig site representative.
If a significant event happens or is anticipated, you will be notified. You'll be free to focus your time and energy elsewhere.
Experience
Blackstone's founders posses a combined 36 years of oilfield experience. From off-shore Gulf of Mexico to coal bed laterals in Colorado, we've seen a few things in our time and we are always eager to learn more.
While we've logged in Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado and all over Texas, the Delaware Basin is our home and Wolfcamp/Delaware Mountain Group wells are our specialty.
During our 15 years in the Delaware Basin, we've witnessed the emergence of new targets, new processes, and new technologies and incorporated them into our logging methodology.
Accuracy
Blackstone owns and operates state of the art gas detection equipment and software to maximize accuracy and consistency. By combining our technology suite with information from rig's EDR and the directional consultants software, we are able to incorporate a full spectrum of technical data into our analysis.
That technical data stream, when merged with cuttings analysis and utilization of offset data allows Blackstone's consultants to provide accurate, detailed, consistent mudlogs and real time rig level geosteering assistance.
