GAMMA CORRELATION
WITHOUT THE SHEET

Drag offset gamma against a fixed active curve. Verify a formation at the cursor, then project MD, TVD, and subsea down the well. The active well stays at true TVD.

StrataG runs locally. It does not transmit well logs, project files, or other job data, and it does not include telemetry.

GROWING ACTIVE LOG

Import to Active appends new gamma into the drilling well as exports arrive. Overlapping depths update in place.

OFFSET MATCH

Bring in offset wells, shift them in TVD, and stretch between horizons until the signatures line up.

VERIFY AND PROJECT

Press V on a top to verify it. Project Down fills deeper MD and TVD from the survey.

MORNING REPORT

Morning PDF, print PDF, and CSV. Save the correlation as a .stratag.json project.

    Download StrataG_Setup.exe Copy it to the wellsite PC by the link above, a share, or USB.

    Run Setup Double-click, then Next, Install, Finish. No administrator password.

    Open StrataG Use the desktop shortcut or Start Menu. The user manual is installed beside it.

    If SmartScreen appears The signature publisher is Blackstone Analytics, LLC. Choose More info, then Run anyway. That prompt fades as this signed file is downloaded more widely.

WHERE IT INSTALLS

Files go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\StrataG. Uninstall from Windows Settings, the Start Menu, or Uninstall StrataG in the app. Uninstall deletes save files for this install, including .stratag.json and autosave. Export Morning PDF, Print PDF, and Print CSV first. Original LAS, CSV, and Excel files are left in place.
